it was a little less emotional than i had imagine it would be.

which probably is a good sign since it shows progress. not that we're pushing away such a big part of our life but instead carrying on with life. which is probably what she would've wanted anyway.

i swear that i could imagine my grandma standing next to one of my aunts as they were singing songs to her. or maybe i felt it. guess i'll never know.

for a short while... our family was whole once again.
