It ain't that bad

Mood : stubborn
Music : Bubbly by Colby Cailat

i was sitting with my legs out the door of the back seat of my car and stared down hopelessly at the stupid puncture that couldn't have happened at the worst time. my dad had removed the jack from my car which meant that there was nothing much i could do till help arrived.

i felt another bead of sweat slowly make its way down my cheek and wondered if i could've done anything differently to avoid this. at one point i even considered abandoning my car and only taking care of it later after i had met my friends. i know... desperation was taking over.

then i realized that maybe this wasn't such a bad thing. i think if i was ever given the choice at the beginning of my life of when i'd prefer to have a puncture then i'd probably choose this instant instead of when i had an important meeting to get to or something else more important.

i'm trying to stay optimistic... just as i spoke those words to myself, my uncle's car pulled up behind mine.

i was out with an old friend of mine last saturday and we got into this argument of whether men or women were more complicated. as could be expected i had answers for most of her points as she had answers for most of mine. the argument could've lasted the whole day.

i'm trying to be less complicated myself. take it easy... a few words that i hear repeatedly in my head. and i'm trying... i really am.

no pictures today... i'm using the awesome new MacBook my company gave me so i don't have any pictures with me right now.
