there comes a time in everyone's life when he or she has to accept facts. some of us live in denial and turn a blind eye to what's actually going on in our lives. unfortunately this is more damaging than we realize and eventually our problems will catch up with us.

i was told some pretty disturbing news today which will most likely have a tremendous effect on my life over the next few years. oddly enough i am not as bothered by it as i should be. i'm starting to wonder if this sorta makes me a bad person. 

as cynical as i may seem to the others involved in this mess... i really think that good could actually come of this. i must not forget that besides this there are actually other more pressing issues that need to be settled as well.

here's hoping that the future is brighter than it seems right now.
