there's this stretch of road that i have to pass to drive to work everyday. and since the earth rotates at a similar pace every single day, i get blasted by bright sunshine from my right side. on some days it's so hot i swear i can actually feel the sunburn developing.

not having those kinda funky sunshades which sticks to the window (my mom never leaves home without her's) i resort to using that little visor thingy in your car that sometimes has a little mirror. anyways, most of the time the little thingy is just too small or short to cover the right places and block the sunlight.

so today i had a little epiphany. i took out my sunshade which i normally use to cover my dashboard when i leave my car in the sun. it's one of those types which have a metalic frame which you can fold and store away.

my brilliant idea was to sandwich the shade between my window n that little visor which worked fine at first. the shade was big enough in its folded form to cover enough of my side window. i was pretty impressed with myself for being able to set it up while driving along... until the shade popped open.

the shade must've slipped out of the visor and unfolded as soon as it was free. i must've looked really comical trying to get the shade under control. i think i ended up driving around 5 kilometers with only one hand on the wheel and the other pressing down on the shade so that it won't block my view.
