yesterday was absolutely smashing! playing basketball with music playing in the background was a first for me and it's something i hope i'll have the chance to enjoy again (the sooner the better). besides the fact that it's not every day (or week or even month for that matter) that i get to play in an indoor basketball court, everything else was almost perfect. it wasn't scorching hot... there were more than enough people to form teams... and yeah... there was this guy that brought alone a water dispenser so we could refill our bottles when our water ran out. didn't play too badly if i dare say so myself...

one of the guys i played basketball with will be starting his 3rd semester in MMU this coming june. due to complications i ended up taking his car to the LRT station in taman melati (the court was in sungai buloh!) so i had a good long chat with him about the university and my chances of getting in. i have to say i'm as excited as ever now to continue my tertiary studies there... still keeping my fingers crossed

donated a buck to some people at the LRT station as i was going to my doctor appointment yesterday. i hesitated at first but then pulled out my wallet as soon as i noticed they were helping some kidney research association or something like that. that one was for you ken... hehe
